On the afternoon of November 1st, the first group of chartered flights from Wuxi successfully returned from Japan, marking the fruitful conclusion of Hongdou International's five-day battle to seize orders and expand the market in Japan.

Japan has always been a vital overseas market for Hongdou International's foreign trade. However, the transportation disruptions caused by the pandemic for over two years hindered international travel. In this instance, Hongdou International proactively stepped forward and aimed to reclaim the market. Preparations were made in advance as Manager Chen Hui from the third foreign trade company, Afu, led a team of five "female generals" to embark on this mission to Japan. They brought along hundreds of garment samples and approximately 300 fabric designs, filling six 28-inch suitcases. Among these were innovative products such as heat-activated prints and sweat-resistant fabrics, which will be the main focus for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.
Race against Time Give It All
Upon their arrival in Japan, the Afu Foreign Trade Company wasted no time. They swiftly split into two teams and directly approached customers for visits and negotiations. They tirelessly ran the market during the day and analyzed their progress at night, working diligently and efficiently to maintain control over the entire itinerary.
To save time to the maximum extent and ensure self-protection, they implemented a military-style management approach, with a schedule focused on two points and one line each day. They visited nine existing customers and five new customers in different regions, conducting on-site market research and gaining in-depth insights into changing demands, fashion trends, and future prospects.
Japanese customers displayed immense enthusiasm towards Hongdou International's visit. They regarded each other as partners and friends moving forward together. The face-to-face exchanges during this visit were extremely valuable and heartwarming. Afu Foreign Trade Company lived up to its mission by successfully negotiating cooperation for the following year's spring and summer seasons through high-quality products and sincere communication. They successfully established relationships with two new clients and secured on-the-spot orders. Subsequently, a steady stream of follow-up orders arrived, simultaneously paving the way for future opportunities in the Japanese market and exceeding expectations in terms of achievements.
